With Google Ads conversion tracking, you can see how effectively your ad clicks result in opt-in leads captured by Hushly.
Since leads captured by Hushly are verified with your prospects’ LinkedIn profile before publishing to your marketing automation platform (MAP), these conversions are considered offline Google Ads conversions.
The three actions you must accomplish to successfully integrate Hushly with Google Ads.
- Enable Offline Conversions in your Google Ads account.
- Connect Hushly with your Google Ads.
- Configure conversion attributes for Hushly Assets.
Creating an Offline Conversion Action in Google Ads
To publish offline conversions from Hushly, first, add Offline Conversions in Google Ads. To enable offline conversions in your Google Ads account:
- Login to your Google Ads Account.
- Click Tools & Settings > Conversions.
- Click the +New Conversion action to add a new offline conversion.
- Select Import from the Start tracking conversions page.
- Select Track conversions from clicks from Other data sources or CRMs. Click Continue.
- Configure the field values as shown below:
- Goal and action optimization: Converted Lead.
- Conversion name: Hushly Conversion.
- Value: Use the same value for each conversion.
- Count One conversion.
- Click-through conversion window: 90 days.
- Attribution model: Use search attribution > the Last click. Important: Note down the Conversion name entered above. Use this conversion name to configure the Asset / Experience / Stream custom fields, to track the offline conversions from Hushly.
- Click Create and continue. Configure the values for
- Method for measuring offline conversions: Google click identifiers, and
- Import offline conversions: API.
- Once complete, click Done. The Conversion actions tab page displays the configuration:Note: As per Google, you must wait for 6 hours after the creation of Offline Conversion before you start publishing the Conversions
Connecting Hushly with Google Ads
This section shows how to set up Hushly to export lead data into Google Ads, and connect Hushly with Google Ads:
- From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Integrations.
- On the Integrations page, click +New Integration to add Google Ads.
- From the Integration pop-up window, select Google Ads and click Activate.
- Select an account that has a Google Ads account to Sign in to Google Ads Integration.
- Google displays the following message asking for permission. Click Allow.
Note: If the Google signed-in user doesn't have a Google Ads account, Google will not connect and the following error will be displayed. - If the signed-in user has a Google Ads account, the Google A Integration page will display a success message along with the Google fields for configuring Field Mapping. The page will also show Edit, Disable, and Disconnect buttons. Configure the default values and click Save.
Edit: Clicking the Edit button, displays the user's multiple Google Ads Account IDs in the drop-down. You can select any of the Google Ads Account Id to publish the Conversions.

Disable: Clicking the Disable button, the Google Ads Account is disabled and the button changes to Enable.
Disconnect: Clicking the Disconnect button, Google Account is Disconnected from Hushly and is removed from the Integration listing page. - Once the integration is complete, Google Ads should be displayed on the Integrations listing page. A green Indicator is displayed under "Operational" confirming that the connection is active.

Configuring the Conversion Attributes for Hushly Assets
To configure the conversion attributes for Assets:
- From the Left Nav Menu, click Assets.
- Click the Asset.
- Click Setup. In the Custom Fields section, the Conversion Name and Conversion Value fields are available. These fields will be automatically created when you connect your Hushly Account to Google Ads.
- Enter the Conversion Name and Value. Make sure the Conversion Name matches the name of the Conversion that you created in Google Ads.
- Whenever a lead is generated via this Asset, an offline conversion is published to your Google Ads based on the values of the Conversion Name and Conversion Value fields.
Disconnecting Hushly from Google Ads
- Click Disconnect. Hushly asks you to confirm the action.
- Click OK.
- A confirmation message shows up and the Integration does not reflect on the Integration results page.
