Pardot Integration: Information and Setup

Setting up the Connection with Pardot allows you to publish the Leads generated by Hushly to your Pardot Account as Prospects. Pardot offers marketing automation and sales enablement tools that help sales and marketing departments team up to maximize efficiency and increase revenue.

Overview

  • Finding Pardot Bussiness Unit ID and Connecting Pardot with Hushly.
  • Map Hushly Lead Fields to Pardot Prospect Fields.
  • Disconnecting Pardot Integration.

Step 1: Finding Pardot Bussiness Unit ID

To connect Pardot to Hushly you need to find your Pardot Business Unit ID, you can find it by following the below steps:

  • Log into your Salesforce using the same account you use to log into Pardot.

  • Go to Setup > Pardot > Pardot Account Setup.
  • You may have multiple Pardot Business Unit IDs, use the Business Unit Id of the one you want to create a connection with Hushly.

Step 2: Connecting Pardot with Hushly

  • From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Integrations.
       
  •  On the Integrations page, click on New Integration.   
  • From the Integration pop-up window, select Pardot and click Activate.
       
  • Enter the Business Unit Id and choose the version. Click Connect to Pardot.
  • You will be redirected to Pardot Integration Log In Page.
  •  Enter your Pardot credentials to log in to Pardot. Click Log In.
  • The Pardot Request Permission page is displayed with Deny and Allow Button. Click Allow to continue.
  • A confirmation message will appear, indicating that Hushly is connected to Pardot. A green Indicator is displayed under "Operational," confirming that the connection is active.


            

Lead Field Value Mapping: 
To map a lead field value, follow the below steps:
  • Click on the Map Values icon to map the values that you want to publish to Pardot.       
  • The Value Mapping pop-up window displays the following:
    • The values on the left side are Hushly values.
    • The values on the right side are set as third-party lead field values, these values can be modified according to the third-party field values.    
  • Click Save to confirm the mapped changes 
    Note: when the lead is published, the mapped lead field value will be published to the third-party field.  

         

Map Hushly fields to Pardot Prospect fields

  • Hushly Automatically maps the Standard Prospect Fields to Hushly Lead Fields.   
  • Optionally you can map Hushly Non-Standard Fields like Experience Name, Asset Name, and Source URL to your Prospect Custom Fields. Click on Configure Field Mappings to map the fields.
  • In the Edit Field Mapping window, you can map Hushly Fields to any of your Prospect Fields in Pardot be it a Standard field or Custom Field.
              
  • Publish Rule
    • Overwrite: Always sets the value irrespective of whether there is already a value available for that field or not.

    • Do not Overwrite: Set the value only when the Eloqua field value is blank.

Disconnecting Pardot Integration

  • Click Disconnect. Hushly asks you to confirm the action.
  • Click OK.
  • A confirmation message is displayed and Pardot no longer appears on the Integrations tab.
