Creating a Sandbox Hub

Modified on Mon, 14 Jul at 10:04 PM

Adding a Sandbox Hub allows you to create a secure testing environment to build, configure, and validate your Hub before going live. It uses a temporary domain and functions independently, enabling you to test layouts, content, and features without impacting your production environment. Once finalized, the Sandbox Hub can be mapped to your live domain.

To create a Sandbox Hub, follow the steps below.

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, select Hubs. On the Hubs page, click Create Hub.
  2. The Create Hub pop-up is displayed with Name, Description, Sandbox, and Hub Domain fields.
  3. Enter a Name for the Hub.
  4. Add a Description (optional).
  5. Enable Sandbox Mode. Toggle the Sandbox switch to Yes.
  6. Add a Sandbox domain (<UniqueName>.hubv3.hushly.com). The entered domain will be appended with .hubv3.hushly.com (for eg, hushlysandbox.hubv3.hushly.com).Note: The added sandbox domain will be listed in the Manage Domains section of Setup.

  7. Click Save.
  8. Add Streams, add Assets to the Streams, and publish the Hub.

  9. After testing, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to update the domain to your main live domain.
