Configuring Supplementary Questions

Modified on Fri, 31 Jan at 1:25 AM

In Content Sherpa, Supplementary Questions refer to questions that help refine and clarify the main content or information provided. These questions are usually designed to probe deeper into the subject matter, gather more specific details, or prompt further exploration of a topic.

For instance, when creating content for a particular subject or project, supplementary questions can guide the user to think about the topic from different angles or fill in gaps that may not have been initially considered.

To Configure Supplementary Questions follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Supplementary Questions tab, where you'll find the Add Question button. Click Add Question.
  2. The Add Supplementary Question pop-up appears, displaying the Question and Answer text boxes, along with the Cancel and Save buttons.
  3. Enter a Supplementary Question and Answer in the text boxes and click Save.

    Note:

    • You can click the Save & New button to continue configuring another Supplementary Question on the fly.

    • You can use Markdown syntax in the Answer text box to format the text in a plain text editor. The changes will be reflected in the Preview section as you add the syntax.
      Example: **Bold Text**, *Italic Text*

  4. The configured Supplementary Question and Answer are displayed on the Supplementary Question listing page.

  5. Edit Supplementary Question: On the listing page, select a question, click the three-dot menu, and choose the Edit option.

    • The Edit Supplementary Question pop-up is displayed. Make the required changes to the Question or Answer and click Save.
    • A confirmation message appears.

  6. Delete Supplementary Question: On the listing page, select a question, click the three-dot menu, and choose the Delete option.

    • A confirmation pop-up is displayed with No and Yes buttons, click Yes.
    • A success message is displayed. The Question is removed from the Supplementary Questions listing page.

How Supplementary Questions work in real-time:

Supplementary Questions are questions that help explore a topic in more detail, often prompted when a user asks a question that's closely related to an existing one. They are designed to dive deeper into the subject, clarify any uncertainties, or provide further context.
