Salesforce Integration - ABM Account Sync

Modified on Thu, 21 Aug at 2:16 AM

To simplify the exchange of ABM module data between Hushly and Salesforce, Hushly provides an option to integrate and keep both systems in sync. As part of this, you can configure a sync and publish process for Accounts and Contacts [Account Visitors]. This integration allows for seamless sharing of Account information and Visitor data, ensuring that both systems are up-to-date and consistent.  To learn more about Syncing ABM  Visitors, click here

Overview

  • Establish a connection between Hushly and Salesforce.
  • ABM Account Mapping.
  • Map Hushly ABM Account Fields to Salesforce Account Fields.
  • Edit, Disable, and Disconnect Salesforce Integration.

Establish a connection between Hushly and Salesforce

  1. If your Salesforce account is already integrated with Hushly, navigate directly to the ABM Account tab on the integrations details page. If not, click here to set up the integration.

ABM Account Mapping

  1. On the Integration Details Page, select ABM Account. Click Add Mapping.
  2. The Add ABM Account Mapping pop-up is displayed. Configure the fields and click Continue. The Field Mappings pop-up window is displayed.
    • The Salesforce Object Account is selected by default and cannot be edited.
    • Selecting the option Import from Salesforce will display the field Salesforce List View with a dropdown of all the Lists available in Salesforce. Select the List to pull from Salesforce.
    • Selecting this option, Publish to Salesforce, will publish all the Accounts Engagement Stage and  Engagement Tier Updated On activities to the synced Accounts list.
Note: Selecting Only Publish the Imported Accounts will publish to only the synced Accounts.
    • Select Dedupe Rules.
      • Match Account Name: During the sync, the system will check if the Account Name exists. If it matches, then the Publish to Salesforce or Import from Salesforce process is done.
      • Match Account Domain: During the sync, the system will check if the Account Domain exists. If it matches, then the Publish to Salesforce or Import from Salesforce process is done.

ABM Account Field Mapping

  1. In the Field Mapping pop-up, map the Hushly Account fields with Salesforce Account fields. Click Save. Note: To add additional Hushly fields for mapping with Salesforce fields, click Add Field Mapping.

  2. The ABM Account Mapping page is displayed with Sync Logs, Sync, Edit, Delete, and Configure Field Mapping buttons.
    • Sync Logs: Clicking the button opens the Sync Logs pop-up window, displaying all the Accounts synced from Salesforce into Hushly.
    • Sync: Clicking the Sync button triggers an on-demand job that immediately synchronizes data into Hushly, displaying a confirmation message: A job has been initiated to sync ABM Account data from Salesforce. This process enables direct data import from Salesforce, eliminating the need for manual CSV file uploads into Hushly.

Note: This will sync data from Salesforce to Hushly and not the other way around. There is an hourly job that runs that will publish to Salesforce and, at the same time, sync from Salesforce.

    • Edit: Click on the Edit button. The Edit ABM Account Mapping pop-up is displayed. Please make the necessary changes and click Continue. The ABM Account Mapping pop-up is displayed. Make changes (optional) and click Save.
    • Delete: Click the Delete button. A confirmation pop-up is displayed with "No" and "Yes" buttons. Click Yes, and the mappings configuration will be deleted.

    • Configure Field Mapping: Click on the Configure Field Mapping button. The Field Mapping pop-up is displayed. Please make the necessary changes (optional) and click Save.

Edit, Disable, and Disconnect Salesforce Integration

  1. Click on Edit
    • The Salesforce login pop-up is displayed, allowing you to log in using either OAuth or Password Authentication. Click Connect to Salesforce to establish the connection. This option is useful when the integration is disconnected or when an authentication issue occurs.
    • OAuth: Open Authorization is an open standard for access delegation commonly used as a way to grant websites or applications limited access to user information without exposing passwords.

    • Password Auth: Password-based authentication is a method that requires the user to enter their credentials — username and password — to confirm their identity.

  2. Click on Disable. A confirmation pop-up is displayed with "No" and "Yes" buttons. Click Yes.
    • The Integration page is displayed, showing that the status has changed from Enabled to Disabled, and the Disable button has switched to Enable. Note: Click Enable to Reconnect.

  3. Click on the Disconnect button. A confirmation pop-up is displayed with "No" and "Yes" buttons. Click Yes.
    • A success message is displayed, and the Salesforce Integration is removed from the Integration listing page.
