How to Manage Gartner Reports as Assets

Modified on Mon, 25 Nov, 2024 at 8:01 PM

Gartner Reports can be sensitive to copyright, hence, the following process will only enable a limited preview of a Gartner report and redirect the user to the original link on Gartner's site via the fulfillment URL. This way, you're not infringing on Gartner's copyright and can still share the information with others.

To manage Gartner Reports in Hushly, upload a Gartner Report as an Asset by following the steps below:

  • Open the Gartner Report Link that you wish to upload as an asset. (This is the link you will use as the Fulfilment URL.)

  • Save the report as a PDF - To do so, Press CTRL + P and select Save as PDF from the Destination drop-down > Click Save.

  • Go to Hushly and from the Left Nav Menu, click Assets.
  • On the Assets page, click Upload Asset.
  • Select the Asset Type from the Create Asset pop-up window
  • In the Create Asset pop-up window, enter the details such as the Name of the Document Asset, (the title auto-populates.) Type and Language.
Note: For Gartner Reports, it is recommended to keep the Asset Gated and only show a small number of pages or just the cover in the Preview.

  • Select the Upload radio button (which is done by default) and upload the downloaded Gartner Report PDF then click Save.

  • The Asset details page opens. Add the Gartner Report Link into the Fulfilment URL Field and click on SaveNote: Set the Preview Pages as 1 for Gartner Reports.
