Topic Assets Trend Analysis provides insights into topic popularity by tracking the number of Assets associated with each Topic over varying timeframes (30 days, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, etc). This analysis enables data-driven decision-making and strategic planning based on comprehensive insights into topic engagement and trends.
This report provides insights into how content (assets) is distributed across different topics and how it performs over time. It helps you understand which topics have more assets, how old those assets are, and whether there are gaps in your content coverage. The Topic Assets Trend Report helps you track the volume and age distribution of content by topic so you can keep your marketing assets fresh, relevant, and aligned with your audience’s needs.
To view the Topic Asset Trend report, follow the steps below:
- From the Left Nav Menu, go to Reports > HSignal > Topic Assets Trend.
- Within this report, we delve into the metrics of each Topic, including the total number of assets, the views they received in the last 30 days, and the trends observed over the months.
Columns in the Report:
- Topic - Shows the subject areas (e.g., B2B Marketing, Marketing Automation).
These themes are assigned to assets to facilitate easier tracking and analysis. - No. of Assets -The total number of content assets (eBooks, blogs, whitepapers, etc.) tagged under that topic.
- 30 Days - Number of assets published or refreshed in the last 30 days.
Helps track fresh, newly created content. - 1 to 3 Months - Assets that are between 1 to 3 months old.
Indicates recent but not brand-new content. - 3 to 6 Months - Assets created/updated between 3–6 months ago.
- 6 to 12 Months - Assets created/updated between 6–12 months ago.
- 12+ Months - Older content that has not been updated in over a year.
These might need refreshing or replacing, depending on relevance.
- Topic - Shows the subject areas (e.g., B2B Marketing, Marketing Automation).
- Use the Filter option for streamlined Topic analysis, extract relevant information through Filter by Asset (searching Assets by names) and Filter by Topic (exploring Assets under specific topics). You can select one or multiple filters to narrow the report view.
Filter by Asset - Filter based on specific content assets. If you choose Asset, you can drill down into the performance of a specific asset.
Filter by Topic - Filter based on the topics under which assets are categorized. If you choose Topic → B2B Marketing, the report will only display asset trends for that topic.
