Deleting a Step in the Engagement Flow
Deleting permanently removes a step from the Engagement Flow. Once deleted, the step and its configuration cannot be recovered. Use this option carefully and only when the step is no longer needed in the flow.
To delete a step from the Engagement Flow, follow the steps below:
- On the Engagement details page, under the In Progress section, click the three-dot menu of the step and click Delete.
- A prompt is displayed to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to delete the Step.
- A confirmation message of the step being deleted is displayed.
Important:For an Engagement flow without Visitors, all the Steps can be deleted
- When you delete a Step with Pending Visitors, the visitors will be assigned to the Next Step or, if there are no more Steps, they will exit the flow.
- Engagement flows that have Visitors InProgress state, at least one step is mandatory for the flow, and the delete option is disabled for that Step.
