The Hubs are easily available for anyone to visit and browse the content enclosed within. However, for some Hubs, you may want to limit access to a specific audience or if you have a Hub for internal-only content. Hushly provides an option to keep the content safe from prying eyes by limiting access via the Hub Protected feature.

Note: When you enable the Hub Protected feature, all visitors to the Hub or any ABM page are prompted to enter a password before viewing the page.

We'll walk you through the process of password protecting your Hubs in a few simple steps.

  1. From the Hubs page, click on Options
  2. By default, the Protected toggle is set to No; enable the toggle to Yes.
  3. When the Protected toggle is enabled, the Passwords field is displayed.
  4. You must first create a password before allowing the users to log in. Enter a password in the Add your Password field, you can click the +Add button to add more passwords to your list of passwords.  Note: The password can be alphanumeric or alphanumeric and special characters with a minimum 6 character length.

  5. Click the delete icon against the password. this will remove the password from the list and prevent it from being used to log in again.
  6. Clicking Save will save the list of configured passwords.

  7. The change will be applied immediately, and all visitors who visit any page within the Hub will be prompted to enter a password before they view the page. Enter the password and click ContinueNote: When an incorrect password is entered, an error "Your password is incorrect" would be displayed and the user would be unable to access the page.

  8. Set the Protected toggle from Yes to No to disable the password-protected feature. When the Protected toggle is turned off, all passwords are reset and you will not be prompted for a password entry on hub access.
