You may want to limit access to a specific audience or if you have an ABM Page for internal-only content. Hushly provides an option to keep the content safe from prying eyes by limiting access via the ABM Page Protected feature.
Note:
- When you enable the ABM Page Protected feature, all visitors to the ABM page are prompted to enter a password before viewing the page.
- When you enable the Hub Password Protected feature, the ABM Pages created under that Hub are also Password Protected.
We'll walk you through the process of password-protecting your ABM Pages in a few simple steps.
- From the Left Nav Menu, click ABM > Pages.
- On the ABM Listing Page, select an ABM Page.
- By default, the Variation tab is displayed, click the Configure tab.
- The Configure Tab displays the following sections.
- Click on the Security section. By default, the Protected toggle is disabled.
- When the Protected toggle is enabled, the Password field is displayed. Enter a password in the Password field.
Note: The password can be alphanumeric or alphanumeric and special characters with a minimum 6-character length. - Click Update to save the password.
- The change will be applied immediately, and all visitors who visit any page will be prompted to enter a password before they view the page. Enter the password and click Submit.
Note: When an incorrect password is entered, an error "Your password is incorrect" would be displayed and the user would be unable to access the page.
- Set the Protected toggle from Enable to Disable the password-protected feature. When the Protected toggle is disabled, all passwords are reset and you will not be prompted for a password entry on the ABM Pages.
