Setting up the connection with Salesforce enables publishing Hushly-generated leads into your Salesforce account as Contacts.
Overview
- Establish a connection between Hushly and Salesforce.
- Map Hushly Lead Fields to Salesforce Lead Fields.
- Edit, Disable, and Disconnect Salesforce Integration.
Establish a connection between Hushly and Salesforce
- From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Integrations.
- On the Integrations page, click on New Integration or Start Integration.
- From the Integration pop-up window, select Salesforce and click Activate.
- Salesforce offers three types of instances: Production, Sandbox, and Development. Hushly supports integrating with the Production and Sandbox environments.
- To connect to Salesforce Production, Log In using the OAuth Tab, and click "Connect to Salesforce."
- To connect to the Salesforce Sandbox environment to facilitate testing before deploying changes to production, click "Connect to Salesforce Sandbox."
Note: You can log into Salesforce using either the OAuth or Password Auth tabs. However, connecting to the Salesforce Sandbox environment is only supported via OAuth login and not through Password Auth.
- Enter your Salesforce credentials to log in to Salesforce. Click Log In.
- To connect to Salesforce Production, Log In using the OAuth Tab, and click "Connect to Salesforce."
- To Log In using the Password Auth Tab, click the Password Auth tab.
- Enter the credentials and click "Connect to Salesforce".
- Enter the credentials and click "Connect to Salesforce".
- After Connecting to Salesforce.
- You will be asked to grant Hushly the ability to publish leads into your Salesforce.com instance.
- You will be redirected to Hushly, and the connection status will change from Not Connected to Connected.
- You will be asked to grant Hushly the ability to publish leads into your Salesforce.com instance.
- A confirmation message will appear, indicating that Hushly is connected to Salesforce. In the Integrations page, a green Indicator is displayed under "Operational," confirming that the connection is active.
Map Hushly Lead Fields to Salesforce Lead Fields
This allows you to align and connect lead data captured in Hushly with the corresponding fields in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and seamless data transfer between the two platforms. The Leads that Hushly generates are enriched and published to Salesforce.
- Click Add Mapping.
- The Add Lead Mapping pop-up window appears with the Salesforce Object "Lead" preselected by default. Click Continue.
- In the Field Mapping window, map Hushly Lead Fields to the respective Salesforce Lead Fields.
Note:
You can also select different Types (such as Lead, Registrant, ABM Account Rep, Web Experience, Stream, or Asset) to map the corresponding Hushly fields with Salesforce fields.
To add additional Hushly fields for mapping with Salesforce fields, click Add Field Mapping.
- Click Save. The Mapped Field Values are displayed on the Integrations details page.
Publish Rule:
- Overwrite: Sets the value always, irrespective of whether there is already a value available for that field or not, but if the published value is blank, it will not overwrite the existing value in Salesforce.
- Do not Overwrite: Sets the value only when the Salesforce field value is blank.

- Click Publish Criteria.
- The Salesforce Publish Criteria pop-up window is displayed. Leads will be published to Salesforce based on defined publish criteria.

- Click Edit.
- The Edit Lead Mapping pop-up window is displayed with the Salesforce Object "Lead" selected and not editable. Click Continue.
- The Field Mapping pop-up window is displayed. Please make the necessary changes (optional) and click Save.

- Click Delete.
- A confirmation pop-up appears with "No" and "Yes" options. Clicking Yes deletes the mappings and removes them from the page.

- Click Configure Field Mapping.
- The Field Mapping pop-up window is displayed. Please make the necessary changes (optional) and click Save.
Edit, Disable, and Disconnect Salesforce Integration
- Click Edit.
The Salesforce login pop-up is displayed, allowing you to log in using either OAuth or Password Authentication. Click Connect to Salesforce to establish the connection. This option is useful when the integration is disconnected or when an authentication issue occurs.
- Click Disable. A confirmation pop-up is displayed with "No" and "Yes" buttons. Click Yes.
- The Integration page is displayed, showing that the status has changed from Enabled to Disabled, and the Disable button has switched to Enable.

- Click Disconnect. A confirmation pop-up is displayed with "No" and "Yes" buttons. Click Yes.
- A success message is displayed, and the Salesforce Integration is removed from the Integration page.
