Cloning a Web Card

Cloning a Web Card allows you to create a duplicate of an existing web card, which can then be modified or reused in different parts of your website. This is useful for maintaining consistency and saving time when you need similar content across multiple pages or campaigns.

To Clone a Web Card, follow the steps below:

There are Two ways to clone a Web Card:

• From the Web Card listing page.
• From the Web Card details page.

Cloning a Web Card from the Listing page

1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Web Personalization > Web Cards. 
2. Click on the three dot menu on the Listing page, Edit and Clone options are displayed. Click Clone.

   
   Note: A Published Web Card will have two options in the menu, Edit and Clone. For a Web Card in Draft mode will have three options, Edit, Clone, and Delete.
    

3. Clone Web Card pop-up is displayed Edit the Name for the Web Card. Enter Notes, and Preview Page URL (optional), and click Save.  
4. The Editor Page is displayed with the cloned Web Card. Make necessary changes and click Publish. 
   
   

Cloning a Web Card from the Details page

1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Web Personalization > Web Card.
    
2. On Web Card listing page, click on the Web Card you choose to clone.
   
   
   
3. The Web Card details page is displayed. Click Clone. 
4. Clone Web Card pop-up is displayed Edit the Name for the Web Card. Enter Notes, and Preview Page URL (optional), and click Save.
    
5.  The Editor Page is displayed with the cloned Web Card. Make necessary changes and click Publish.
