Introduction to Web Cards

Modified on Sun, 19 May at 9:42 PM

A web card, also known as a social media card or simply a card, is a visual representation of a webpage or piece of content that is designed to be shared on social media platforms or other online channels. Web cards typically include an image, title, description, and link to the corresponding webpage or content.

Web cards are commonly used on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest to share articles, blog posts, videos, products, and other types of content. They are designed to be eye-catching, informative, and engaging, encouraging viewers to click through to the full content.

In addition to social media sharing, web cards are also used in other contexts such as email marketing campaigns, messaging apps, and content-sharing platforms to promote and distribute content online.

Web Cards are of two types:

  • Floating Bar
  • Slide-in

  1. Floating Bar consists of two templates:
    • Simple Bar (Link based)
    • Promotion Bar (Button based)
