Creating a Slide-in Web Card

A Slide-in Web Card is a type of interactive element that appears on a web page by sliding into view from the side or bottom of the screen. It typically contains promotional content, notifications, calls-to-action, or other messages designed to capture the user's attention and encourage engagement. 



To create a Slide-in Web Card, follow the steps below:


  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Web Personalization > Web Cards.

  2. On the Web Cards listing page, click New Web Card.


  3. In the Create New Web Card pop-up window, under Web Card Type, select Slide-in from the drop-down. 


  4. Select any of the templates and click the Next button.

  5. In the Create New Web Card pop up, the Details Nav is selected by default. Enter a Name, Notes and Preview Page URL (optional), and click Save.
    Note: Enter the URL of the page where you would like to preview the web card. You can edit the preview page url in the Web Card page editor to see what the card will look like on different pages.

  6. Editor Page is displayed with the Image, Title, Subtitle, CTA and Close button.

  7. Customize the Title, CTA, and the Close button.

  8. Once it's Customized, Click Publish to activate Web Card.


    A confirmation pop-up is displayedclick Yes.  
    NoteOnce a Web Card is Published, it cannot be deleted.
