Setting up Clearbit as a Data Provider

Account-Based Sales and Marketing teams require rich account insights and the ability to deliver engaging experiences. A critical part of an engaging experience is delivering the right content at the right time. Hushly and Clearbit allow marketers and sellers to seamlessly deliver a new level of personalization to customers.


Add Clearbit as a data provider to your Hushly Account:

To configure Clearbit as a Hushly data provider, follow the steps below:

  • Contact your Clearbit representative to get your Clearbit Details API key.
  • Share this API key with your Hushly representative to set up Clearbit as a Data Provider for your Hushly Account.


Available Clearbit Attributes:

Once Clearbit is successfully configured the following additional Clearbit data attributes become available and can be used in Hushly:  Domain, Company Name, Sector, Industry, Employee Count, Tech, Tech Categories, City, State, State Code, Country, and Country Code.



Segment defined using Clearbit Attributes:

Go to Setup > Segments > Add/Edit Segment.
Select the Clearbit field on the left, a comparison operator, and enter a text value or pick from the drop-down list on the right.

 

Associating a Segment with an Experience

Once a segment is defined above, you can offer Personalized content to users who belong to the segment within the What tab of the Experience.


Follow the steps below to Create a new Experience or to Edit an existing Experience.

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, go to Experiences > Select an Experience.
  2. Click Add Assets to Personalize the Assets shown to users belonging to the defined Segment above.
     
  3. To offer Personalized content: from the Add Assets to Experience pop-up window, under Personalize Experience, select the above-created Clearbit Segment.
     
  4. Select the Assets you want to include. You can also search for the Assets using the Search and Advanced Search options. 
  5. Select the Assets. 
  6. Click Add Assets to include the selected Assets in the Segment. 
  7. Click Next to go to the When tab and complete the Experience creation process. Click Publish

    Important:
     To preview and test the Experience, refer to Previewing the Experience and Testing the Experience respectively. You can preview or test the Experience before or after publishing an Experience.

Viewing a Live Experience:

For Users whose profile matches the defined Segment rules of the Experience who visit the Web page, the Experience with the Personalized Content is displayed.

 

For all other Users, the Default Content is displayed. 

Associating a Segment with a Hub

You can use defined Segments in a Hub. Recommendation Rules (Hubs > Recommendation Rules) are used to create personalized content recommendations for the visitor.


Hushly provides a Recommended for You section in a Stream. You can configure rules to personalize the content to be displayed in this section.


Viewing a Live Hub:

For Visitors whose profile matches the defined Segment who access the Hub, the Recommended For You section is displayed.

 

The same Recommendation is displayed at the item level for this Visitor.


For all other Visitors accessing the Hub, the Recommended For You section is not displayed. 

The remaining Assets of the Stream will be displayed in the Recommended For You section at the SNLP (Self Nurturing Landing Place) item level for this Visitor.
