Creating Custom URL for an ABM Account

Modified on Thu, 30 Nov, 2023 at 2:45 AM

By creating a Custom URL, you can direct the account holders to specific URLs, and the non-account users to a default URL.

To create a Custom URL for an ABM Account, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, go to Setup > Field Management > Select Account from the drop-down to access ABM Account Fields.  Click on New Custom Field.

  2. In the Add Custom Field box, enter the Name of the Field (Example: Account CTA), and the Code is generated automatically. Note: Learn more about Adding a Custom Field here.

  3. From the Field Type drop-down, select Textbox, and select String from the Data Type drop-down.
    Add a default value. (optional)
  4. Click Save.

To add the new Custom Field to an ABM Account:

  1. From the Left Nav menu, go to ABM >Accounts > Select an account from your list > Configure.
  2. Scroll to Custom Fields. Add the Account-specific URL and click on Update.

  3. Next, you can go to ABM > Pages > Select the page on which you want to add the CTA.

  4. Click on Tokens at the top of the page.
You will see the added token field on the Tokens pop-up. Enter a default destination in the field. Then copy it and close the pop-up window.

  5. On the ABM Page > CTA, add the Button Text and the copied Token URL.
If a user comes from a different account, the CTA will take them to the default destination.
