Hushly’s lead generation process is GDPR and CASL compliant. When a user seeks to download an Asset, these events occur:

  1. The user views and reads the preview of the Asset. 
  2. When the user scrolls down to the end of the preview or clicks the Download button, Hushly asks the user to provide a business email to access the Asset in its entirety. 
  3. The user enters the business email in the pop-up window. Hushly does not accept public emails such as xyz@gmail.com, or role-based emails such as sales@xyz.com, marketing@xyz.com, or support@xyz.com. This policy is in line with the lead generation strategy that Hushly was built with.

    When the user selects a GDPR country, the appropriate GDPR workflow is presented to gather the opt-in consent as required.

  4. When the user applies a valid email address, they receive a branded email configured for the Asset with a download button.

  5. For GDPR counties, a pop-up window is triggered and requests for permission to share the user’s enhanced business profile. The user must give their permission to proceed and download the content.
     
  6. When the user clicks the Download Now button, the user is taken to a page where they can download the Asset or view the video.

  7. The Data Librarian verifies and enriches the lead and the lead is published to your Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), i.e, Marketo.
