PageSherpa Extension Overview

PageSherpa by Hushly is an AI-powered personalization tool designed to tailor web pages for specific target audiences. It allows users to enter a page URL and, in minutes, generate personalized variations to improve engagement and conversion.


From the Personalization tab, users can manage and track all personalized pages, view variations, and make updates easily. The extension helps marketers deliver on-site content experiences by identifying company domains, applying AI-generated insights for each account, all within a single, intuitive interface.


Through the extension interface, users can:

  • Personalize any web page by entering its URL
  • Generate AI-based personalized variations
  • View and manage existing personalized pages
  • Access settings, credits, and support directly


Accessing the Extension


Click the PageSherpa icon in your Chrome browser. The extension will open, displaying the interface overview. The PageSherpa Extension features the following: Personalization, Credits, Settings, and Support tabs. The Personalization tab is displayed by default.


Personalization Tab

On the Personalization page, users can view and manage their landing pages and variations. 


Each variation card shows:

  • Variation name
  • Status (e.g., Published, Draft)

  • Number of target accounts assigned

  • Timestamp of the last update

  • Quick action icons to edit, preview, or delete the variation


Create a new variation by clicking the Create Variation button. This enables marketers to develop and test multiple page versions tailored to different audience segments, resulting in optimized engagement and conversions. 


Credits Tab

The Credits tab displays the current credit usage and plan details associated with your PageSherpa account.

  • Current Credits:
    • Shows the total credits allocated for the month and the number of remaining credits.
    • Current credit status indicator, i.e., Active.
    • Credit usage percentage bar showing how much of the monthly limit has been used.
  • Current Plan Details:
    • Plan name and monthly cost
    • Next billing date
    • Days remaining until the monthly credit refresh

  • Upgrade Plan Button: The button lets users upgrade their subscription if they need more credits or additional features.

Settings Tab

The Settings tab allows users to manage their account preferences and control extension behavior.

  • The Account Settings section includes:
    • PageSherpa Tag – Opens the Desktop App, displaying the PageSherpa Tag that can be copied and pasted into your website’s code to enable live personalization.
    • Manage Account – Opens the Settings page in the App and allows users to access and modify their PageSherpa account details.
  • The Extension Settings section includes:
    • Auto-Inject PageSherpa Tag (Testing Only) – When enabled, this option automatically injects the PageSherpa Tag on pages you visit for testing purposes only. For visitors to experience live personalized content, the Tag must be manually installed on your website.

  • Logging Settings:

    • Enable - Activates logging to track extension performance and activities. On enabling, the Log Level is displayed

    • Log Level - Allows you to choose the level of detail for logs (e.g., Debug, Info, Error).


Support Tab

The Support tab provides users with quick access to help resources and guidance for using PageSherpa effectively.

  • The Quick Start section includes a video walkthrough to help users understand how to set up and use the extension.
  • The Coming Soon section displays upcoming support resources and feature enhancements in a FAQ-style format.
  • At the bottom of the page, quick links to Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Support are available for additional reference.
  • Click the Support link to file a support request.
     
  • The Support Request page allows users to contact the PageSherpa support team for assistance. The Full Name and Email fields are prepopulated with the user’s account details.
    To submit a support request:
    • You can select a Category from the dropdown list that best describes your issue or question.
    • Enter a Description with at least 20 characters, providing detailed information about your issue or request.
    • Click Submit Support Request to send the details to the support team.

Once submitted, the PageSherpa team will review the request and respond promptly.
