RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary." It's a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format. RSS feeds enable users to subscribe to their favorite websites or blogs and receive updates automatically without having to visit each site individually.
