Styling ABM Page Block: Content

The Content Block displays content such as Streams and Assets. It allows for a dynamic presentation of media, videos, or other interactive elements that enrich the user's experience on the page. 


The Content Page Block is a predefined block that is included by default in the page template. However, if you have removed it, you can easily re-add it. 


You can show multiple Content Blocks on a Page. 

1. Go to Add Page Blocks
, then select Content. You can choose either a predefined block or one that has been designed and saved as a Global Block.

 

2. To Customize the Content Block, there are two ways to access the Configuration option:

  • Click on the Content block in the Editor. The Configuration panel, with the Content tab, opens on the left. 
    Or
  • You can also go to the page options on the Left and click on the Content Block.

3. The Content Page Block includes Title, Subtitle, and Content. 

  • Enter a Title. To remove the Content Title, leave the Title field empty.


    Note: The maximum character limit for a Title is 1000.

     
  • Enter a Subtitle. To remove the Subtitle, leave the Subtitle field empty.


    Note: The maximum character limit for a Subtitle is 2000. 

     

  • Click the Content section. 

  • The Content section expands with Hide Header, Tiles per row, Tiles Alignment, and Streams section.

    • Hide Header toggle is disabled by default and the Stream Header is displayed. When the Hide Header toggle is enabled, the Stream Header is hidden. 

       

    • Specify the number of tiles you want to display in the Tiles per row settings.  When you select "2", two tiles will be displayed in the row of the stream. 

    • Tile Alignment section: 

      • Tile Alignment is displayed with Default value. 

      • From the Tile Alignment drop-down list select "Left". The last tile in the stream is left aligned. 

      • From the Tile Alignment drop-down list select "Center". The last tile in the stream is Center aligned.

      • From the Tile Alignment drop-down list select "Right". The last tile in the stream is Right aligned. 

  • In the Contents section, click on the icon in the Menu tab,   

     
  • The Add Content pop-up window opens.
     
    Select one of the options below:

    • Header: This is a label to group the menu items.
    • Stream: The menu item acts as a link to the chosen Stream.
    • Embed Stream: The menu item acts as a link to the chosen Embed Stream.
      1. If you select Header: 
        • Enter the Name and click Save.
        • The Header is added to the Content Section. 

          Note: Under the Header, you can add a Sub Menu of type Stream/Embed Stream.

      2. If you select Stream:
        • Select the Stream.
        • Add the Label
        • Set the number of items you wish to display from the Stream.
        • Click Save.
        • The Stream is added as a Sub Menu.
        • When the Use Account Default Stream Toggle is enabled, the Stream configured at the ABM Account Level is displayed. 
          Note: The Stream configured at the ABM Account must belong to the same Hub as the ABM Page. Otherwise, the above-configured stream will be shown.

        • Click Save and the Stream is displayed in the Content Block.

      3. If you select Embed Stream :
        • Select the Embed Stream.
        • Enter a Name and click Save.
        • The Embed Stream is added to the Content Section.

    The Stream/Embed Stream is added to the Content Block and is displayed below with the View All link. 
    Note: Click Save As Global Block to save the Content Page Block as Global Page Block. Learn more about Global Page Blocks here.
