Account Visitors

Account visitors are individuals who visit ABM landing pages. When they opt-in, they become leads. Account Visitors are on two types - "Invitees" and "Non-Invitees."

• Invitee: Similar to the target list of accounts, it is also possible to upload a target list of contacts for a specific account. The ABM Page URL will have a special URL Parameter (INV=Invitee Id) that helps to identify individual Account contact invitees who visit the ABM Page.

FAQs

Q. How is an Account Visitor of Invitee type identified?

A. When the Account and the Invitee ID of an existing Account Visitor are passed as parameters in the URL with "acc=hushly.com" and "inv=HLY001" then the account visitors with the Invitee type are identified.
Example: https://hub.hushly.com/sample-abm-page?acc=hushly.com&inv=HLY001

• Hushly identifies the Account Visitor by its Invitee Id and displays the Custom ABM Page accordingly.
• Activity performed by this Visitor on the page is tracked.

Q. How is a Non-Invitee Account Visitor created?

A. When the Visitor of an existing account accesses an ABM page with the account parameter "acc=hushly.com" then an Account type of Non-Invitee is created.
Example: https://hub.hushly.com/sample-abm-page?acc=hushly.com

• Hushly will create an Account Visitor of Non-Invitee type.
• Activity performed by this Visitor on the page is tracked.

Q. How can an Account Visitor of Non-Invitee type be converted to Invitee?
A.

• When the Visitor of an existing Account accesses an ABM page URL with the account parameter "acc=hushly.com" then an Account Visitor of Non-Invitee type is created. 
• When the same visitor accesses an ABM page URL with the Invitee Id as a parameter in the URL
  Example: https://hub.hushly.com/sample-abm-page?acc=hushly.com&inv=HLY001
• The Account Visitor of Non-Invitee type is now converted to Invitee type.
  
  

Q. What happens if an account is not available/does not exist?

A. When a non-existing account name/domain value is passed in the account parameter for an ABM Page URL - The ABM Page will be displayed but the Account Visitor will not be created.

Q. What happens if an Account Visitor Id is incorrect? 

A. When a non-existing/unavailable Invitee Id value is passed in the Invitee Id parameter for an ABM Page URL [Example: ABMPageURL?acc=hushly.com&inv=HLY3001] - The ABM Page will be displayed. A New Account Visitor of Invitee type with the given Invitee Id will be created.

Q. Building Information of a Non-Invitee Account Visitor:

• When an Account Visitor access the ABM Page with only the ?acc=hushly.com. 
• A New Account Visitor of Non-Invitee type is created with only the Account field information.  
• Now the same visitor can access some Content and can submit the Form.
  
  
• When the form is submitted, an Email with the Downloadable Asset content will be sent to the user.
  
  
• When the user clicks on the Downloadable link from the Mail, the First Name, Last Name, and Email of this User/Account Visitor will be updated.
  
  
• When the Lead is Enriched and Published by the Data Librarian, the Account Visitor's details are updated with the Job Role and the Department.
