Generating a Title and Description for SEO

The SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Title and Description role is to help your page rank higher in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and others, gaining more online visibility and increasing the chances that users will click over to your page.

Important: Only Document type assets and Web Article type assets have the "Smart Assist Generating SEO Title and Description" enabled. This functionality is not available for Video assets.

You can generate an SEO Title and Description in the following two ways until you're happy with the content.

Default Generator:

1. From the Left Nav Menu, select Assets. 
2. In the Assets listing page, select an Asset.
      
3. On the Assets page, click the Setup tab and in the SEO section, click the Smart Assist (SEO Title and Description) link.
            
4. In the Smart Assist (SEO Title and Description) pop-up, click Get Suggestions to generate recommendations.
   
5. On the right-hand side, you will see all the recommended options provided by the AI Engine. Click Use to select the recommended option that is most suitable for your asset as its SEO Title and Description.             
6. The option selected is displayed in the SEO Title and Description fields. Click Save to update the changes.

Keyword Generator: 

A keyword search looks for specific words in the current asset's content to help generate SEO Title and Description options - for example, mention the keyword "Marketing" from the asset content that you upload, and the AI will search the asset document and generate the SEO Title and Description options with the highlighted keywords.

1. On the Assets page, Setup tab - SEO section, click the Smart Assist (SEO Title and Description) link.               
2. In the Smart Assist (SEO Title and Description) popup, enter the keywords that would be used to generate the title and description.    
3. Tone - Tone refers to the style or manner of expression in writing. It conveys the writer’s attitude and shapes how the content is perceived, much like how vocal inflection and body language affect spoken communication. The choice and arrangement of words help create a specific tone, such as Professional or Comical.
   The Tone dropdown allows you to choose between two content styles, Professional and Comical.
   • Comical Tone provides your content with an element of a casual tone. 
   • Professional Tone provides your content with an element of a formal tone. By default, the Professional Tone is selected. You can choose a tone of voice for your content type from the drop-down menu and click Get Suggestions.           
         
4. On the right-hand side, you will see all the recommended options provided by the AI Engine. Click Use to select the recommended option that is most suitable for your asset as its SEO Title and Description.  
5. The option selected is displayed in the SEO Title and Description fields. Click Save to update the changes.
