The Default Value is to be set for the custom field when a Lead is created. Default values can be entered manually or they can be assigned from other sources.
Assigning a Default Value Manually: You can enter the default value of the field.
Assigning a Default Value through a source: You can obtain a default value from the dynamic sources such as parameters, cookies, and hidden fields by clicking the 
button.
The Following Table describes in detail the different sources that a default value can be assigned.
