Pause and Resume an Experience

Pause an Experience 

Pausing an Experience in Hushly temporarily disables the selected experience without deleting it. This lets you stop it from appearing to visitors while keeping all configurations, data, and settings intact for future use or edits. When a user accesses the landing page associated with the Experience, it will no longer trigger any actions performed by the user. 


To pause an active Experience, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav  Menu, click Experience
  2. On the Experiences page, select the Experience. 
  3. On the Experience details page, click Pause.
       
  4. A confirmation pop-up window is displayed. Click OK.
  5. A confirmation message is displayed, and the status is changed from Active to Paused. 


    NoteWhen a user accesses the landing page associated with the Experience, it will no longer trigger any actions performed by the user.

     
  6. You could also pause an Experience from the Experiences page as well, hover over the Experience, view the shortcut action buttons, click the Pause button, and click OK in the confirmation pop-up to pause the Experience.


Resume an Experience

Use the Resume option to reactivate a previously paused Experience, making it live and accessible again to users.


To resume an Experience, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Experience. 
  2.  On the Experiences page, select the Experience. 
  3. On the Experience details page, click Resume. 
  4. A confirmation message is displayed, and the status is changed from Paused to Active.
  5. You could also Resume an Experience from the Experiences page as well, hover over the Experience, to view the shortcut action buttons, and click Resume.
