Modified on Thu, 19 Dec at 9:01 PM

To add Assets to a Stream manually follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Hubs.

  2. On the Hubs page, select a Hub.

  3. From the Hub menu, click Streams.

  4. The Stream listing page displays the Streams that are available in the Hub. Select the Stream Name.

  5. The Contents page is displayed. Click Add.

  6. You can easily search for assets using their names. From the Add Content pop-up window, locate and select the assets you want to include in your stream. For a more refined search, use parameters like tags, catalog fields, and custom fields through the advanced search option.

  7. Select the Assets. When you select an Asset, the checkbox is selected. Also, a status message with the count of Assets selected is displayed in the upper-left corner. Click Add Contents.
Note: To clear the selection, click Clear in the upper-left corner. To select all the Assets, click Select All in the lower-left corner. You can add a maximum of 50 Contents at a time.

  8. The added Contents are displayed under the Contents tab.
Note: The hand symbol on an Asset indicates that the Asset is manually added to a Stream.

If you modify the URL path of a Stream, the bookmarks made with the old URL will redirect If the Asset is marked to Hidden -> Even though the Asset is added to a Stream in the Hub it will not show up to the End user/visitor who is accessing the Stream, to the modified URL path. Note: Editing the URL path modifies the path to access the Stream Item. When you hit the Save button, a Previous URL Path is created as an Auto Redirection rule. Consequently, user bookmarks and search engines pointing to the old URL may lead to a modified URL path.
