Deleting an Email Template

To delete an Email Template, you can follow the below steps:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Email Templates. 
  2. On the Email Templates page, click on the three-dot menu under the Actions column of the email template you want to delete and click Delete. Note: Default templates cannot be deleted.

  3.  If the Email Template is not in use, you are asked to confirm the deletion. Click OK to delete the Cluster.
    Note: If an Email Template is in use, an appropriate message 'This Email Template cannot be deleted because it is used by Asset/Experience/Partner' is displayed.

  4. A confirmation message of the selected template is displayed on the email templates listing page.
