A Conversation Saved Email Template is a pre-formatted message used to notify users that their ContentSherpa chat has been saved for future reference. It ensures that important interactions, shared resources, and guidance are preserved and easily accessible.
Saving a conversation provides the user with a permanent, organized record of their chat, which can be referred back to at any time. This template highlights the value of the saved interaction and encourages users to revisit their content when needed.
To create a Conversation Saved Email Template, follow the steps below:
- From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Email Templates.
- Click the Create button to view the available template types. From the list, select Conversation Saved.
- Enter the Name of the email template.
- The From Name is prepopulated with your company name, as configured under Setup > Settings. For example, if your company name is ACME, the "From Name" will appear as ACME via Hushly.
You may update the company name, but it must always be followed by via Hushly. - By default, noreply@yourcompanyname.com is populated in the Reply To field. You can update this email address as needed.
- A predefined subject appears in the Subject field, which you can modify as needed. You can also use tokens such as {{contentSherpa.conversationUrl}} and {{contentSherpa.botName}} to personalize the subject line.
- By default, the template logo is sourced from Setup > Settings. To customize the logo, click the Image icon to upload a new one from your device, or use the Link icon to insert a logo via URL.
Alternatively, click Insert > Image from the toolbar. - Edit the default message.
- You can format the message using the editing tools available on the toolbar.
- To insert tokens into your text, use the tokens from the toolbar.

- In the default message, the View Your Conversation link is displayed. Selecting the link will highlight the Link icon. Click the Link icon.
- The Insert/Edit Link pop-up is displayed.
- URL - This URL/Token is prepopulated. Do not edit. With any modification, the visitor will not be able to access their conversation when clicking the View Your Conversation link.
- Text to display - Customize the text that prompts the visitor to view the conversation.
- Title - Title is for internal purposes.
- Open link in.. - Choose whether the conversation opens in the Current Window or a New Window when the visitor clicks the link.
- Click Save.
- The Insert/Edit Link pop-up is displayed.
- Click Save on the template details page to save your changes and finalize the template.
