How ContentSherpa Widget Works on ABM Pages

The ContentSherpa widget is displayed based on the configuration settings defined in the ContentSherpa Setup and the Launch Method configured.


Launch Method Options:

  • Button – When the Button option is selected as the Launch Method, a Button Label field appears, allowing you to customize the text displayed on the launch button.
  • Ask Question InputWhen the Ask Question Input option is selected as the Launch Method, a Floating input field appears at the bottom-center to ask a question and launch the ContentSherpa widget.


Launch Method: Button 

  1. Configuration: Configure the Launch Method as Button and enter a text for the Button Label. 
  2. Real-Time: The Button is displayed at the bottom right corner of the page. Click the Button. 
  3. The ContentSherpa widget launches, displaying a Welcome Message, Welcome Note, and Guiding Questions (if the Prequalification Statement is disabled at the Setup). Selecting a Guiding Question or typing a Question in the text box will display the Question and the Response.


Launch Method: Ask Question Input

  1. Configuration: Configure the Ask Question Input Launch Method. 
  2. Real-Time:  An input field appears at the bottom-center of the page, allowing visitors to ask a question and launch the ContentSherpa widget. To initiate the conversation, type a question into the input field and either press Enter on the keyboard or click the up arrow button.Note: You can also click on the expand button to launch the Widget.

  3. The ContentSherpa widget launches, displaying a Welcome Message, Welcome Note, Prequalification Statement, and a Start Chat button. Clicking the Start Chat button will display the Question and the Answer.



Styling the ContentSherpa Widget

You can customize the look and feel of the ContentSherpa Widget to match your website’s branding using the Styling section under Configure in the ContentSherpa interface. This includes options to customize colors, fonts, and other UI elements for a seamless, on-brand user experience.

  1. Navigate to the Configure tab in the Content Sherpa interface and click Styling to expand the section. 
  2. Enter the code in the Styling section and click Update.
