There are times you may want to ungate content for Accounts that you are targeting for Account Based Marketing. In this case, Hushly supports ungating content for specific Marketo Segments. Hushly integrates with Marketo to dynamically control content access, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for visitors.
By leveraging visitor data from Marketo, Hushly determines whether content should be ungated automatically or require a form submission based on the Marketo Segment.
When the content is ungated, you will still see the form at the bottom of the page unless Anonymous Download is enabled.
How It Works:
- Segment-Based Content Ungating:
- If the visitor belongs to a qualified Marketo Segment (e.g., high-priority accounts or existing customers), Hushly automatically ungates the content, allowing instant access.
If the visitor does not belong to an eligible Marketo Segment or is unrecognized, the content remains gated, requiring form submission before access.
- Identifying the Visitor:
- Hushly queries Marketo using the Munchkin Cookie stored in the visitor’s browser.
- If the visitor is a known lead in Marketo, Hushly determines if they are assigned to a Marketo Segment.
- In the script, replace "your Segment" and "your value" with the Marketo Segment and Value derived from Marketo.

How to Test Your ABM Page
Test Case 1: Known Visitor in a Specified Marketo Segment
- Identify yourself in Marketo:
- Submit any Marketo form on your website (e.g., the one configured in Hushly).
- Use an email that is associated with the Segment in Marketo.
- Access the ABM Page
- Once identified, visit your ABM page, and the content is automatically un-gated.

- Identify yourself in Marketo:
- Submit any Marketo form on your website (e.g., the one configured in Hushly).
