Adding and Editing Segments on an ABM Page

On ABM Pages, Segments are used to deliver a personalized and relevant experience to a group of visitors that you've identified, increasing the effectiveness of the ABM strategy and driving engagement within Target Accounts. Content that resonates with each target account group is delivered to that group.


To Add or Create a Segment at the ABM Page Variation, please follow the steps below:


  1. Click on ABM on the Left Nav Menu and Select Pages. 
  2. From the list of ABM pages, Click on the Name of the Page. 
  3. The selected page opens with the Variation Tab shown and the Default variation is displayed. Click Add VariationNote: A Segment cannot be added to the Default variation.

  4. A pop up is displayed to Add the new Variation. Choose a Source Variation from the drop-down, which is the Page you will to start with as a template for the Variation you're adding.
     
  5. Select a Segment from the drop-down list. This list will include all pre-built Segments.

  6. On selecting a Segment, the Edit Segment is activated and changes can be made. The Name of the Variation is auto filled with the name of the Segment but the Name can be modified. 
    • Clicking on the Refresh button Segments created on the fly will be displayed in the drop-down list.  To learn more on Adding a Segment click here. 
    • Clicking on the Edit Segment, opens the Segment in a new tab. Make edits to the Segment and click on the Save button changes.  
    • Click on the "+" Add Segments, opens in a new tab for the user to add a new Segment on the fly. To learn more on Adding a Segment click here.
  7. Add a new name to the Name Field or use the predefined name.
  8. Add a Description to the Variation.

  9. Select the Account Rep Type to be used for the Variation from the drop-down. Reps that are assigned to that list are now available.

  10. Enter a numerical value in the Weight field. An Account may belong to multiple Segments. The Segment/ABM Page Variation with the highest weight is displayed to Accounts that are associated with multiple SegmentsClick Save.
