Status of Unpublished Leads

Modified on Mon, 25 Sep, 2023 at 1:52 AM

A Lead remains unpublished when it does not meet the publishing criteria. The reasons can be broadly categorized as System Default Reasons, Email Rules, and Reasons mentioned by the Data Librarians.

System Default Reasons

The following reasons are set by the Admin or are integrated into the Hushly System:

  1. If the Admin has elected to accept only Business emails, then the non-business emails will remain unpublished.
  2. If the Admin restricts emails of a certain type, for example, Emails based on a Domain, Email Provider, or Personal Website email.
  3. When the number of enriched leads reaches the subscription limit, Hushly will stop publishing leads. The account must renew its subscription to release unpublished leads.

Reasons Based on Rules

When a Data Librarian comes across a lead that favors any of the following rules, then the email is unpublished. The rules in the Hushly System are as follows:

Suppression Rules: Based on this rulean email is suppressed if it is a Role, Test, from the Same Company, or a Country Mismatch. The Data Librarian determines this.

MDR Rules: If the given Minimum Data Requirement (MDR) is not fulfilled, then the Data Librarian will not publish the leads stating MDR is not met.

Restriction rules: The Restriction Rules are set before the enrichment process. The Admin can restrict leads from a certain Domain, Company, specific emails, etc. by creating a restriction rule.

Reasons mentioned by the Data Librarian while enriching the Lead

If a Data Librarian comes across a lead that is not valid, is missing one or more attributes from the MDR, or if the email does not meet the respective criteria then the Data Librarian will not publish the lead. The Data Librarian adds comments on why the leads are unpublished.

Some of the Common Reasons stated by the Data Librarians are:

  • MDR not Met - When the Data Librarian does not find one or more attributes on the MDR list, they don't publish the lead and state the missing attribute in their comments.
Example: MDR not met - Title, Last Name.

  • Not Found - If the Data Librarian does not find any email user data, then the lead is unpublished and saved as Not Found.

  • No Website - When the company's website is not found then the Data Librarian will not be able to update the information and so it is not published.
