Adding a Menu

Modified on Tue, 17 Aug, 2021 at 8:11 PM

When a Hub has many Streams, adding a menu makes it easier to navigate Streams and find Assets. You can create a two-level menu using Hushly.

Menu items that make a menu are links to Streams, website URLs, or section heads. Section heads in a menu are labels.

You can add a two-level menu to a Hub.

To add a menu to a Hub:

  1. From the Hubs pages, select the Hub and click Menu.

  2. To add a menu, click the icon. The New Menu Item pop-up window opens.
  3. Select one of the options below:
    • Stream Link: Any Stream. The menu item acts as a link to the Stream of your choice.
    • Website: Any website URL. The menu item redirects to the website.
    • Section Head: This is a label to group the menu items.
      1. If you select the Stream Link:
        • Select the Stream name.
        • Enter a label.

        • Click Add MenuItem.
      2. If you select Website:
        • Enter the website URL.
        • Enter the label.

        • Click Add MenuItem.
      3. If you select the Section Head:
        • Enter the name of the section head.

        • Click Add MenuItem.
  4. Once the Menu is designed your Hub would look like:

Note: You can repeat steps 3 and 4 above to add a sub-menu item.

Determining the Menu Levels

Also, you can drag and drop menu items to reorder or reverse the position of a menu item with a sub-menu item and vice versa. Use the handle icon to drag and drop the menu items.

Once done the Menu would look like below
