Adding a Menu
When a Hub has many Streams, adding a menu makes navigating Streams and finding Assets easier. You can create a two-level menu using Hushly.
Menu items that make a menu are links to Streams, website URLs, or section heads. Section heads in a menu are labels.
Important: You can add a two-level menu to a Hub.
To add a menu to a Hub, follow the steps below:
From the Left Navigation Menu, click Hubs. On the Hubs listing page, select the Hub you want to manage. From the Hub Menu, under CONFIGURATION, click Navigation.
The Navigation page is displayed with the Menu tab selected by default. Click + Add menu item.
In the Add menu item pop-up window, under Type, select one of the following options:
Stream link (selected by default) — Point to a stream in this Hub
Website — Link out to any external URL
Section — Group links under a heading
Enter the required information for your selection, and then click Add menu item.
Review the navigation menu in the Preview panel on the right. On the Navigation page, in the upper-right corner, click Save changes.
Adding a Sub-item
On the Navigation page, under the Menu tab, locate the menu section where you want to add a sub-item. Click the Show/Hide arrow, and then click + Add sub-item.
In the Add menu item pop-up window, under Type, select one of the following options:
Stream link (selected by default) — Point to a stream in this Hub
Website — Link out to any external URL
Enter the required information for your selection, and then click Add sub-item.
Review the navigation menu in the Preview panel on the right. On the Navigation page, in the upper-right corner, click Save changes.
