Editing an Asset Catalog Field

To edit an Asset Catalog Field, follow the steps below:

1. From the Left Nav, click Setup > Field Management.
    
2. Click the drop-down arrow to view the list and select Asset.

   
   The Asset standard, custom, and catalog fields are displayed. The icon denotes a custom field, and the icon denotes a catalog field.

      
3. Select the Asset Catalog Field and click Edit. 
4. On the Edit Catalog Field pop-up window, you can modify the Name, Field Type, and Value fields. Click Save.  
5. A success message is displayed indicating that the Asset field has been updated. 

Deleting an Asset Catalog Field

To delete an Asset Catalog Field, follow the steps below:

1. From the Left Nav, click Setup > Field Management.
2. Click the drop-down arrow to view the list and select Asset. 
3. The Asset standard, custom, and catalog fields are displayed. The  icon denotes a custom field. Theicon denotes a catalog field. 
4. Select the Asset catalog field, and click Delete.Note: We cannot delete a catalog field if it is associated with a Hub filter.
   
   
5.  A confirmation prompt appears. Click OK.  
6. A confirmation message is displayed, and the Asset Catalog field is deleted.
