Editing an Asset Custom Field

To edit an Asset Custom Field, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav, click Setup > Field Management.
     
  2. Click the drop-down arrow to view the list and select Asset.


  3. The standard, custom, and catalog Asset fields are displayed. The icon denotes a custom field, and the icon denotes a Catalog field.

  4. Select the Asset custom field and click Edit. 
  5. You can edit all the details of the custom field. Click Save.
     
  6. A success message is displayed indicating that the Asset field has been updated.


To delete an Asset Custom Field, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav, click Setup > Field Management. 
  2. Click the drop-down arrow to view the list and select Asset. 
  3. The standard, custom, and catalog Asset fields are displayed. The icon denotes a custom field, and the  icon denotes a catalog field.
     
  4. Select the Asset custom field, and click Delete. 
  5. A confirmation prompt appears. Click OK. 
  6. A confirmation message is displayed, and the Asset custom field is deleted.
