Default Search
- You can enter the Asset name and click Search.
The search string is matched with the names of Assets, and all matching Assets are returned in the search results. However, the content of the Asset does not appear in the search. - Optionally, click the Export button in the upper-right corner to export the search result data. You can export a report as a comma-separated values (*.csv) file.
- Optionally, click the Updated On button in the upper-right corner to sort the search result data. You can sort on the Asset's Updated On or Created On Date or on the Asset's Name.
Note:
The Asset search results are default sorted on the Asset's last Updated date.
Advanced Search
To search for Assets using the advanced search parameters:
- Click the drop-down arrow in the Asset Name field. The drop-down box appears.
- Select the content type to choose a Document or Video Asset.
- Select the Asset type from the drop-down list. This field is enabled only when you select the content type.
- Select the tags.
- If you have configured catalog labels, they appear in the advanced search. Select the appropriate catalog labels.
- Click Search.
- Optionally, click the Export button in the upper-right corner to export the search result data. You can export a report as a comma-separated values (*.csv) file.
You can search using only the content type, tags, catalog labels, or asset type. Also, you can search using a combination of any of the fields.
Searching for an Asset based on Mitab Topics
Topics that are configured at Setup >Topics can be searched in the advance search on the Asset Listing page.
- Click the drop-down arrow in the Asset Search field.
- The drop-down box appears. Enter the Topic Name in the Mitab Topics search field. Click Search to display the results.
- The Assets that are associated with the searched Mitab Topics are displayed.
Filtering the Search Results
You can use the advanced search filters to refine the default search results.
- Enter a search string. Click Search.
- Click the drop-down arrow in the Asset Name field.
- Select the filters.
- Click Search to view the filtered results.
Sorting the Search Results
You can use the sort filters to sort search results.
- Enter a search string. Click Search.
The search result is default sorted on the Updated date of the Asset. - Click the Updated On button in the upper-right corner to sort the search result data. You can sort on the Asset's Updated On or Created On Date or on the Asset's Name.
- Select the sort order as Created On.
The search result would be sorted on the Asset's Created date - Select the sort order as Name.
The search result would be sorted on the Asset's Name
