The ContentSherpa Traffic By Source report provides insights into how visitors are reaching your ContentSherpa AI-powered pages. It tracks and displays the origin or source of user traffic, such as direct visits, search engines, referral sites, social media, or paid campaigns.
This report helps you:
- Understand which channels are driving the most engagement.
- Analyze the effectiveness of your distribution and promotion strategies.
- Optimize content reach based on traffic source performance.
You can use this data to improve targeting, boost ROI, and refine your content delivery approach.
To access the Traffic By Source reports, follow the steps below.
- From the Left Nav Menu, click Reports > ContentSherpa > Traffic By Source.
- The Traffic By Source page is displayed, presenting each Source alongside key performance metrics.
Key Metrics Displayed in the Report:- Source - Identifier or path where the traffic originated.
- Sessions - Number of total visits from the source.
- Visitors - Number of unique users from that source.
- Engaged Sessions - Sessions where users interact meaningfully with the content.
Engaged Visitors - Unique users who actively engaged during their visit.
Conversations - Number of chatbot conversations initiated.
- Questions - Total number of questions asked during conversations.
- Conversation Saves - The total number of conversations that were saved.
- Leads - Leads captured from the interactions.
- Repeat Visitors - Visitors who returned after their first visit.
- Search and customize the report table by Date.
- Apply available Dimensions in the drop-down menu. A maximum of three Dimensions can be applied at a time.
- Filter and apply sub-filters by Source to refine the traffic data view.
