You can set up an exclusive Mobile experience by creating an On Click Experience.
The On Click event displays the Experience in a pop-up window when you click a page element such as a box, link, button, banner, and so on.
- Go to When tab > On Click
- Select Mobile the device type. The Experience is launched only for the selected device type.
- Enter the CSS Selector. The CSS selector identifies the page elements that trigger the Experience when clicked. You can configure one or more elements of the page to trigger the Experience.
To find a CSS selector:- Open the web page that will display the Experience.
- Right-click on the web page to open the right-click menu.
- Select Inspect Element. The following screen is displayed at the bottom of the web page.
- Click the arrow at the upper-left corner and then click on any user interface element on the web page. The CSS elements are displayed.
- In the Search HTML section, right-click and select Copy > CSS Selector. The CSS elements are copied to the clipboard.
- Paste the CSS elements into the CSS Selector field.
- Open the web page that will display the Experience.
- Select Overlay to replace the page element with a thumbnail of the Experience’s Primary Asset. Optionally Enter a value for the CTA Label, that will be displayed on the landing page.
- Select No Preview to launch the opt-in form of the Experience’s Primary Asset.
- Click Save Changes to save the configuration.
Important: To preview and test the Experience, refer to Previewing the Experience and Testing the Experience respectively. You can preview or test the Experience before or after publishing the Experience. Click Publish.
Click OK to confirm.
The Mobile Experience is then Published.
