Adding Assets to an Experience

In an Experience, you can use the add Assets in the What tab. The Assets are shown when the Experience is launched.


The first Asset shown to the user is known as the Primary Asset. The remaining Assets in an Experience are displayed in the Recommended section of the Experience.


To add assets to an Experience, you can follow the below steps:

  1. Click the What tab. Click Add Assets or the Click here link.   
  2. From Add Assets to Experience pop-up window, select the Assets and click Add Assets.   
  3. You can also add assets using the Search and Advanced Search options.   
  4. The selected assets are added to the experience and are displayed.
    Note: To associate a segment to an asset you can refer to Experience: Associating Segments and adding assets to it.

  5. By default, the Recommend Content using AI Engine toggle is set to No, if you want to recommend content using AI Engine then enable the toggle to Yes.
       
  6. You can select up to 10 assets to display in the recommendation column at run time.
       
  7. You can choose to include and exclude assets that will be viewed at run time by clicking the Inclusion/Exclusion Rules link.
       
  8. The AI Engine pop-up window displays. By default, the toggles are set to No, you can enable the toggles to Yes for the rule you would like to use.
    • Inclusion Rules: Select the catalog field type and the equal field from the drop-down list and click Save. The assets that are selected will be displayed at run time. 
    • Exclusion Rules: Select the catalog field type and the equal field from the drop-down list and click Save. The assets that are selected will not be displayed at run time.`
  9.  You can also refer to Personalizing Content Recommendation > AI Engine to add the inclusion and exclusion rules.

  10.  A confirmation message is displayed when the rules are applied to the assets.
  11. Click Next to go to the When tab.
