Editing an Account Custom Field

To edit an Account Custom Field, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav, under Setup, click Field Management.

  2. Click the drop-down arrow to view the list and select Account.
     
  3. The Account standard and custom fields are displayed. The icon denotes a custom field.
     
  4. Select the Custom field, and click Edit. 
  5. On the Edit Custom Field pop-up window, modify the details. Click  Save.
     
  6. A success message is displayed indicating that the Account field has been updated.


Deleting an Account Custom Field


To delete an Account Custom Field, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav, under Setup, click Field Management.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow to view the list and select Account. 
  3. The Account standard and custom fields are displayed. The icon denotes a custom field. 
  4.  Select the Account custom field and click Delete. 
  5. A confirmation message is displayed. Click OK. 
  6. A confirmation message is displayed, and the Account Custom field is deleted.
