Segments include rules that define user groups. For example, you can define a rule that defines a Social Media user group.
To define a Segment go to Setup > Segments.
In an Experience, You can use the created Segment in the What tab and add Assets. The Segment and its Assets are shown when the Experience is launched and when the condition matches the segment's defined rule.
The first Asset shown to the user is known as the Primary Asset. The remaining Assets of the Segment in an Experience are displayed in the Recommended section of the Experience.
- Click the What tab. Click Add Assets or the Click here link.
- From Add Assets to Experience pop-up window, select a segment from the Personalize Experience
- Select the Assets you want to include. You can also search for the Assets using the Search and Advanced Search options.
- Select the Assets.
- Click Add Assets to add the selected Assets to the Segment.
- Click Next to go to the When tab.
