Adding a Hushly User and Managing Roles

To add a Hushly user to your Hushly account, you need to follow the two main steps:

  • Invite a Hushly User.
  • Set up the Password for the User.


Inviting a Hushly User

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Manage Users
    .
  2. Click Invite User.
  3. In the Invite User pop-up window, enter the user’s Name, Email address, and assign the appropriate Role.
       

  4. Click Send Invite
  5. A confirmation message is displayed, and a Welcome email will be sent to the user. 

Setting up the Password

  1. An invitation email shown below is sent to the Hushly user, click Set your password.   
  2. The user is redirected to the password setup page.
    • Enter the password in the Choose Password field. Make sure it meets the specified criteria.
    • Enter the same password in the Confirm Password field. 
    • Click Create Password   
  3. The Hushly user account is created successfully, and upon login, the Home page is displayed. 

Managing Roles

User roles in Hushly determine which menus and features are accessible. Each role is granted specific permissions, and the sidebar displays only the menus relevant to the assigned roles. 

Your organization can have five types of roles.

  • Administrator Role - Has access to all menus in Hushly, including Setup. 
  • Content Manager Role - Oversees Content and SEO and has the privileges of all tabs except the Setup tab. 
  • Account Representative Role - Has access to  ABM and Reports tab.
  • Supervisor Role - Has access to Leads, Reports, and Manage menus (enabled on request, contact your CSM). 
  • Analyst Role - Has access to only Leads and Reports. 

  1. The user with the Administrator role has access to all menus, including Setup: 
  2. The user with the Content Manager Role has access to all tabs except the Setup tab. 
  3. The user with the Account Representative Role has access to the ABM and Reports tab. 
  4. The user with the Supervisor Role has access to Leads, Reports, and Manage  (This is enabled on request, contact your CSM). 
  5. The user with the Analyst Role has access to only the Leads and Reports tab.
    Note: When Hushly creates the first user from your organization, the user is given the admin role’s privileges. This user can invite other users.
