Testing a Default Email Template

After configuring an Email Template to send to users who opt in, you can test the email. When you send a test email, the recipient's field shows your name. You can add more users to receive the test email. The recipients can check the links, fields, and the message of the email.


To test an email template, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Email Templates. 
  2. On the Email Templates page, click Edit from the three-dot menu options.  
  3. On the Email Template details page, click Test. 
  4. From the Default Template pop-up window, select an Experience to associate with the email. You can add more than one email address in the Recipients field. 
  5. Click Send. Hushly will send the configured email template to the selected recipients for testing. Recipients can review the appearance, content, and fields, but links and buttons in the test email will not be clickable.

    Note: To verify the Download action in the Email Template, associate the current email template with an Experience, and click Test. See Experience > Testing the Experience.
