Adding a Global Page Block to an ABM Page

The Global Page Blocks that are created can be added as Customized Page Blocks to an ABM Page, follow the steps below:

  1. On the ABM Page Editor, click on the Add Page Block icon. Select the Page Block type and expand.

  2. Select the Customized Page Block you wish to add.Note: On adding a Global Page Block to the ABM Page, the block will appear with an orange overlay. This shows the Page Block cannot be edited until it is detached.

Actions on a Customized Page Block


To Customize the Page Block further, choose from the two options:


Open in Global Page Block Editor: On click, you will be taken to a new tab to edit the Block using the configuration options. The changes made to the block will be synced with the Customized Block on Save


Note: Any modifications made here will be applied to all ABM Pages that use this Customized Page Block.

To return to the Page Editor after making the necessary changes, click Back to Page Editor.


Detach: On click, it will display the following message. 


On confirmation, the Block becomes a stand-alone instance and any changes to the Global Page Block will not be seen, and you can make the changes to the Block only on this ABM Page.
