Segments are used to configure Experiences and Streams. Therefore, when an Experience or Stream is using a Segment, you cannot delete the Segment. To delete a Segment in use, disassociate the Segment by re-configuring the Experience or Stream.
To delete a Segment:
- From the Left Nav Menu, click Segments.
- On the Segments page, click on the three-dot menu under the Action column for the Segment that you want to delete. Click Delete.
- If the Segment is not in use, you are asked to confirm the deletion. Click OK to delete the Segment.
Note: If the Segment is in use, an appropriate message 'The Segment could not be deleted because it is associated with Experience' is displayed. - A confirmation message about the deletion is displayed. The deleted segment would not be displayed in the list of segments on the Segments listing page.
