Editing and Deleting a List

Editing a List

When you edit a list, you can update key details such as the Name, Code, Description, and List Values. This allows you to keep the list accurate, meaningful, and aligned with your current requirements.

To edit a List, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > select Manage Lists.

  2. From the Lists page, click the list name. 
  3. From the Lists Details page, click Edit.


    From the Edit List pop-up window, edit the Name, Code, or Description of the list and click Update.
  4. A confirmation is displayed indicating the List has been updated.


Steps to Edit List Values :

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Manage Lists.
     
  2. From the Lists page, click the list name.
     
  3. The list values are displayed in the List Details page. Click to edit an existing list value.
    • Make changes and click to update the edited value in the list.
       
  4. Click  to add a new list value.
  5. Click  to delete a list value.
  6. To search for a value from a long list of values, enter the search string in the Value field. Click to search for the value. Click to clear the search string.


Deleting a List

When you delete a list, it is permanently removed along with all its values. A list that is currently in use cannot be deleted until it is disassociated from the configurations where it is applied.

To delete a List, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Manage Lists. 
  2. From the Lists page, click the list name. 
  3. From the List Details page, click Delete.


    • If the list is associated with any rule or used elsewhere in Hushly, a message will appear indicating that it cannot be deleted. 
    • If the List is not in use, a confirmation is displayed. Click OK.
       
  4. A confirmation message is displayed, and the List is removed from the listing page.
