Adding a Competitor

Modified on Fri, 20 Jun at 12:01 AM

Add a competitor’s domain to block users from that domain from accessing gated content or submitting opt-in forms on your website. This helps protect your content strategy and ensures only valid leads can engage with your assets.

To add a Competitor, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Left Nav Menu, click Setup > Manage Competitors.

  2. On the Manage Competitors page, enter the name of your competitor. If the competitor’s domain is already available with Hushly, the competitor’s name is displayed for selection.
If the competitor’s name is not available with Hushly, enter the Name. Click Add.

  3. A message is displayed confirming that the domain was added successfully.

Note: You can configure an appropriate message for competitors using Setup > Localization.

The default message configured here will be shown to the user if a competitor attempts to submit their email address.

This is how the message will appear to the competitor in real time.
