Adding a Custom ABM Page Field

Custom ABM Page Fields carry additional information about the page. When published to your Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), the additional can be used to categorize the leads based on Pages the user consumed. You can define the Custom ABM Page Field and associate them with any page field.


To add a Custom ABM Page Field, you can follow the below steps:

  1. From the Left Nav, click Setup > Field Management.

  2. Click the drop-down list to select ABM Page.

    The standard and custom fields are defined for an ABM Page are displayed. The custom fields are denoted by the  icon.  


  3. Click New Custom Field.

  4.  In the Add Custom Field pop-up window, enter the name of the field.

  5. Modify the code. The code is auto-generated when you type the name. The code captures the button-click event. This field serves internal purposes.

  6. By default, the Hidden button is set to No. Optionally, set it to Yes, hide the field.


  7. Click the Field Type drop-down list to choose Picklist or Textbox.
    1. Select Field Type: Picklist to provide a list of choices.
      • Optionally, add a default value
      • Click +Add Value to add values (labels)
      • Click Save. The custom field is created.
    2. Alternatively, select the field type as Textbox to provide for text entry.
      • Click the Data Type drop-down list.
      • Select the String option for accepting text input or Number to accept numeric input into the field.
      • Optionally, enter a default value.

  8. Click Save. The custom Asset field is added to the list of Asset fields with the  icon.
